We’ll be there: … wherever God sends us!  ;)

Spiritual retreat

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

John 14:26

One of the most important events in our community (if isn’t the most important one) is a retreat. Sometimes it may happen that we wrong and waste the most fundamental things from our activity, and then we need to remind ourselves about them…

A retreat it’s the time when we meet together on a prayer, knowing each other and making our faith deeper. It’s the time when we realize — for what and for Whom all of it is? We know it’s a very special time we call ‘loading of batteries’, which means — our spirit. We spend it on an individual prayer and another time — in a community. Our spiritual leaders help us in that matter — Fr. Mieczysław and Fr. Andrzej and other persons, which God gives us. And we’re so grateful to Him for them.

We pray also for ourselves; we know how important is being in unity. Meetings like these let us explore that we want to be even close to God and this is the most important for us! We meet for a retreat in Advent and Lent, twice a year. We know that an individual relationship to God and a daily prayer are the most important things for everybody, and a retreat it’s such a ‘gift’.

Of course, a retreat is an occasion for better knowing each other, too.
